Our Sliding Grip Bar is 7 Feet Two Inches in length, and 20KG in weight, just like most of the bars seen in a commercial gym. This is the only variant available.

This Bar can be used in a wide range of exercises, including Bench press, Shoulder Press, Rows, Upright Rows, Rear Delt Flies, Bicep Curls, etc.

The Radian V2 Sliding Grip Bar is suitable for both home and commercial gym use. It is tested for long term durability and smooth performance, ensuring that it will be a long lasting addition to your gym.

  • The bar may be oily upon delivery. We advise to handle the bar carefully upon receiving.
  • After every two weeks or a month, apply gun oil on the bar's shaft and move the handles throughout the shaft many times. Once this is done, wipe off the gun oil on the shaft with a dry cloth. Although the bar works fine even without this step or without any added any lubrication, but this step ensures a better feel for users looking for added smoothness.
  • Attaching a barbell fat grip or a similar item to the center of the bar's shaft is optional, but is recommended.
  • Please ensure that the barbell shaft remains free from dirt and residue. If residue accumulates, clean it with a damp cloth or a cloth with gun oil. Residue on the barbell shaft can reduce its smoothness.
  • Avoid placing your fingers under and next to the moving handles.
  • Keep long hair away from the handles. It is possible that the hair may be caught in the mechanism.
  • Weights feel much heavier on this bar as compared to other equipment. Do not overload the bar more than your lifting capacity.
  • Avoid rapidly sliding one of the handles into the center of the bar's shaft. When transitioning the bar from a bench to a vertical stand, make sure when a handle reaches the center, it does so gently. Even though our updated and tested design for the V2 bar significantly minimizes the possibility of damage, due to which we received no complaints from customers regarding this issue, we still advise exercising caution, as the chance of damage, though reduced, still exists.

Why Not Just Use Dumbbells Instead?

Dumbbells only offer resistance in the direction of gravity during most of the movement. However, with the Sliding Grip Bar, there's not just resistance towards the ground due to gravity but also additional resistance along the horizontal plane.

During the bench and shoulder press, the bar resists the inward converging movement of the handles (taking handles closer) with a level of intensity and precision that surpasses traditional dumbbells, creating a far more challenging and distinctive lift. For pull workouts, the bar resists the outward movement of the handles (diverging), offering unparalleled contraction. This resistance increases with the increase in weight, and is felt more at the later parts of a set. This results in a next-level contraction and muscle engagement, unlike any other equipment on the market, and the pump is incredible and distinct.

SYNCHRONIZED HANDLE MOVEMENT

Both the handles of the bar move in a synchronized fashion once both of them are gripped.

TRAINING RECOMMENDATIONS

1. Use Full Range of motion. Take the handles very wide while lowering the bar towards the chest, and in the positive "push" part of the bench press, take them very close with just a little distance between the handles at the center.

2. Use a weight which is medium weight for you, for best possible contraction and pump.

3. Just at the liftoff, make sure both the handles are equidistant from the Centre. The handles during workout move in a synchronized manner.

Yes, once both the handles are grabbed, they move in synchronized fashion during exercise. In no way under normal circumstances can any handle "slip" while exercising.

Yes, much heavier due to the bars unique style of resistance.

It is 330LBS. It may sound less than needed, but it is very high for a bar of this type, as even people with a 405LBS Bench cant use more than 250LBS on our sliding grip bar due to its unique style of resistance.

Yes! The handles are knurled. It's not overly aggressive, but moderately so.

It is Cerakote for both the shaft and sleeves.

No, its not just for bench press. It can be used for rows, upright rows, rear delt fly movement and shoulder press as well.

This bar is more stable than dumbbells, and less stable than a normal bar. If you don't find any stability problems with dumbbell presses, you most likely wont find it on this bar too. However, using very heavy weight beyond the user's capacity is dangerous, like it is on every barbell.

Love the freaky pump! Took me some little time to get used to but overall very well made and really gives a great mind muscle connection and burn.

Amazing bar and amazing pump

This bar is amazing. It feels great to bench and row with. It gives a great pump just like a machine would. I don’t have space for a machine so love using this bar for that movement.

Weird contraction and massive pump

After 10 years of training, this easily in my opinion, tops the list for chest equipment. It gives a massive pump and totally burns out the inner chest. Ive not felt a better contraction with anything else for chest. Also want to mention dumbbells arent even close. I DONT like it for shoulder press but for bench and rows its a very very unique feel and a great bar. Its makes workouts difficult and fun.
